Hello James and Sarah…Gary and I enjoyed meeting you and sharing our halibut meal at Tangle Lake Campground in July. I had to comment on this photo of the abandoned restaurant at Koidern River. My wife, son and I had breakfast there on a road trip coming back from California in 1976. When I passed it last summer in July, I saw that it was empty and remembered the couple who used to run it. Memories of 35 years past! I’m glad to hear you are in Haines waiting for the ferry. My wife and I just returned from a plane trip to Oregon and Washington to visit our kids and grandkids.
